snipplr4e is a plugin for eclipse to talk with snipplr.com. This plugin has been developed by Oliver Nautsch (Switzerland). You can find my blog at www.nautsch.net (in German).

If you delete a favorite in your result list the item will not be deletet at snipplr.com (see this comment)

there is no distinction between a snippet and a favorite at the moment.

Posting a snippet from the Java-Editor and Text-Editor works. If you need another editor please submit a feature request.

There is not update site at the moment.
To install snipplr4e Eclipse plugin:

Download the net.sf.snipplr4e_x.x.x_local_site.zip file and unzip it

In Eclipse, click Help > Software Update > Find and Install...

Select Search for new features to install > Next > New Local Site...

Enter the folder where the downloaded file is unzipped

Select this local site and then follow the instructions
Source code can be checked out through SVN with the following instruction set:
svn co https://snipplr4e.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/snipplr4e/trunk/ snipplr4e
The snipplr4e Eclipse plug-in is provided under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL). You can find a human readable version (the commons deed) at creativecommons.org.
